| Do you let your children, etc. ride on a lawn mower when you are mowing? | | We just had a neighboorhood accident here and a boy about 7 is in serious condition after being ran over with the lawn mower. My discussion is to remind everyone that when you are mowing or doing yard work, in this case it was a lawn roller, not to let your children ride on the mower. It is so much easier to have them mad at you because you told them NO then to be setting in a hospital with them injured and seeing the pain they are going through. When my kids were growing up my daughters best friend was ridding on the lawn mower with her dad and picking up sticks, she fell off and it cut her toes off. So please, just tell them NO! | |
| | Lawn mower | | I recently mowed the lawn. About a week ago I decided to mow the lawn. Bad idea. I had recently had some bad luck with machines. Well anyway, I got the mower out and started mowing. About half way through it started raining and the mower decided to quit on me. So we sent it to the shop to get repaired, my mom not letting me work on it for fear that I would make it explode. And the, six days latter I got the bill from mom. A whopping, kick you in your @$&/+=*% nuts amount of $80. Now, I don' get an allowwence, except for what I work for so that's slot for me. So a quest to get a measly $8 turned into a months worth of mowing lawns for free. | |

| My friend paid $150 to fix his lawn mower, what a rip - off! | | A friend of mine told me that, he just spent $150 to fix his lawn mower. I said, "what?" you can spend the same amount of money, and add $50 more to get a brand new one, and a better one. He was got rip - off. He didn't know that it cost that much beforehand. When he picked it up from the shop, they charged him that much money. I told him, he can simply leave it to them, and go get himself a new mower machine from Home Depot. | |

| | man goes to jail for shooting his own lawn mower | | I guess this man was having trouble with his lawn mower not starting, so he got mad and shot it full of holes with his sawed off shotgun. He was arrested for doing so. He argued that it was his own lawn mower, on his own property and he was entitled to do with it what he wanted. I have to agree with him on that point, but I guess it is illegal in that city to own a sawed off shotgun within the city limits. Needless to say he was breaking the law, thus the arrest. I know I have gotten mad at my lawn mower and kicked it when it wouldn't start, but I guess I never would have thought of shooting it! Nothing makes me madder than a lawn mower that won't start. Have you ever done anything off the wall when your lawn mower wouldn't start? | |

| | | Lawn mower broke | | Great the lawn mower is broke and my hubby tried fixing it and nothing. So he took it to the shop and we should get it back in about a week. And our grass is so high. You cant see my cats when they go out there.LOL They think they are in the jungles.LOL If I was feeling better I would go out there and use the weed wacker on some of it.
