Man turns his tractor fumes into FERTILISER..
Mr Heard,38,from Illston on the Hill, Leicestershire, said: ‘The properties contained in diesel are, surprisingly, beneficial for crops The oil price surge in the recent past has shot the price of the fertliser also.. He says that he has spent nearly $250,000 a year on fertilser due to the rising oil price rise.., of course on his 2500 acres of farm.. tractor now diverts the exhaust fumes to a large box on the side, which has electric fans to cool the gases before they are pumped to 27 pipes on the cultivator towed behind. The pipe openings are at ground level and the fumes are forced deep into the small furrows that are created.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1046026/Eco-friendly-exhaust-The-farmer-turns-tractor-fumes-fertiliser.html
Tractor Trailer Overturns, Spilling Oreo Cookies on Highway
Police say a trailer loaded with 14 tons of Oreos overturned, spilling the cookies still in their plastic sleeves into the median and roadway. The truck's driver was traveling from Chicago to Morris Monday when he fell asleep at the wheel and slammed into the median. The boxes fell out of the trailer and they ripped open.No charges have been filed, but both lanes of traffic remain closed while authorities removed the cookies.Sounds good to me, wish i had been there with some milk.http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,356583,00.html
Man tries to steal car coin machine with his tractor.....
I heard on the radio about this guy who actually was trying to steal a car coin machine using his tractor. He was trying to pull it away from the wall so he could take the coins. A snow plow driver was sitting in his truck watching this guy. He finally got the coin machine out from the wall and started to drag it down the road. I guess the snow plow driver followed him and called the cops and when the man saw the cops he got out from the tractor and left the machine. The cops found him by following the snow tracks. Isn't that funny? I mean there can't be that much money in those machines...What do you think about this guy?
Here is a photo of a Catapiller tractor like the one my husband use to own
This is a caterpillar tractor like on that my husband use to own. I use to watch my husband out in the field driving the tractor. If the tractor broke down my husband would do the mechanic work on it while his father took a different tractor out in the fields to do more work. One year my father in-law planted 15 acres of barley that got a fungus on it. The barley was not suitable for harvesting so he had to go and plow it all down. What a sad that was, he lost all the money he spent on the seed, fuel for the tractor not counting all the hours it took getting the land ready and then planting the barley. This was the days before there was such a thing as crop insurance. I stood outside at the ranch holding our daughter, who was one or two years old at the time. I guess I have more memories about the ranch then I thought until going out there today. It is sad no one is living in the house, but with my health and my husband’s stroke we decided to move into town. We decided 20 acres and the house was too much for us to take care of. I do miss the quiet, the breeze and the solitude.
Simplicity Garden Tractor - Starting System Wiring Diagram
Good afternoon ...I have a thirty (30) year old Simplicity 7012 Garden Tractor, equipped with a Kohler engine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the electrical system for this machine? The Kohler Service Manual is of no help and the local Simplicity Dealer has advised me that a wiring diagram doesn't exist (which I find difficult to believe).Right now, the starter solenoid is clicking, even with a starter power pack hooked up to the battery. Yesterday, I bought a starter solenoid and will replace it tonight. How durable are the starter's on these machines? Any insight on the above would be appreciated. Thanks ...Marty
How Did the Tractor Get to the Island?
Explain how the tractor got there? You are on an island in the middle of a lake. The lake is in a remote part of the country and there has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Every day a tractor and wagon gives hay rides around the island. Puzzled as to how the tractor had gotten onto the island, you ask around and find out that the tractor was not transported to the island by boat or by air. Nor was it built on the island. ************************************************** I will check back once a day but will not post Best Response to the first one who gets it right until I either have sufficient answers to merit it or at least a week has gone by so as to give those who like riddles a chance to see it and enter their answer.

Have You Ever Drove A Tractor Trailor
My hubby is a local truck driver and has been for 20 years and yesterday I got the courage up to drive it, he's been asking me forever to try. I went to the truck yard to meet him and he had it all ready to go, I was just gonna drive it through the yard. I got in and I was very scared but I started going and it was sooo big, he says I did ok but when it was time to stop it felt like I had to push the brakes so hard. This morning when I got up all my muscles in my legs were so sore. I don't belive I pulled all my muscles. I will never do that again.
