| | Robbed at Gun Point!!! | | So, about 30 minutes ago I was robbed at gun point! I was just sitting here at a friends house and two people came knocking at the door. Naturally my friend answered it. The two guys asked for some guy here and he went out side with them. My husband then got up, locked the door and went to hide his friends weed in the back. I was siting in a chair when someone tried to open the door. Noone answered so the guy said "yo i gotta pee, open the door or i'll kick it in. My husband told me to relax and stay calm. Another boy answered the door. The guy said "what are you locking the door for?" and the boy said I don't know. The guy was like wheres the bathroom and my friemd said its in the back but someones in the shower right now. Then he went back out side. My husband told me to go into a bedroom and be quiet. I obeyed and cracked the door so I could hear. The guy was asking about the bathroom still and then the showered turned off. This is where I should have paid attention. Someone started walking down the hallway and the door flew open. It was a completely different dude and he looked me dead in the eyes and proceeded to the back of the house to the bathroom. | | do you get mad when people point out your mistakes? | | i can be like this sometimes when i'm not in the mood to talk and it seemed like it almost everyday. there's been s lot of tension in the house lately and nobody wanted to talk about what was bothering who. most of the time i can be a historian when they start pointing out things to me that i should have done and i would start throwing blames. it's hard to have nobody to talk to. everybody here just wanted to be left alone. | |
| | A point of view | | I have a story that shows how we are ruled by our points of view. (A women lives in and apartment in a large city and a man lives above her. Now like many such places the walls are very thin and so is the flooring. These people can easily hear what is going on in each other's apartment. The woman works during the day at a very stressful job and often works overtime and week-ends. the man works nights and seem to often work in his apartment. The woman hates this man, he is up all night, his phone rings at all hours, he steals her paper early in the morning and does his laundry in the basement, often leaving his clothing around for days. He is totally inconsiderate as a neighbor. The man thinks the woman is a total looser, she works long hours and week-ends, never seem to enjoy herself always does the same thing at the same time. She talks to her mother for hours about nothing and is a total bore.)Now isn't this so true of all of us, we judge others who we have never met by what we can observe.The two people above stumble into each other one day and in the world of fiction find true love.Of course that doesn't happen to us often, but by reading about this situation... | |
| | Porn movies... What is your point of view? | | Dear myLotters... I am not much into watching porn movies. I watch those sometimes- just one or two at a time. But those get me very excited and charged up!!![em]lol[/em]I have made a research on the internet and have found out that there are many kinds of porn movies e.g. blonde, group, couples, romantic etc.. | | how often do you use exclamation point? | | hello mylotters,i just came up to this question because of a certain text.
i used to text others with a lot of exclamation points,
without having the intention to shout at them.
well i'm really not sure why i use exclamation points,
maybe i used it the wrong way that's why one time my sister once talked to me about this thing, i'm surprised to know that sometimes she get frightened by the way i text her. i haven't been aware of other's feelings when i use to text that way.
now,ill be more careful on using it.exclamation mark or exclamation point is a punctuation mark usually used after an interjection or exclamation to indicate strong feelings/emotions, or high volume and often marks the end of the sentence.
sometimes it's also placed at the end of a forceful command.
from now on,i'll be more careful for others to understand me well.how about you? did you experience the same thing?
